The Cliffs were a disappointing experience. Our room was filled with bugs. We have bites all over our body. The pool is a freezing 65 degrees. We couldn't even swim. And when we mentioned the bugs to the owners, there were extremely rude. The man attempted to put tape around the tiny air conditioner, but it didn't keep the bugs out of the room. We left and went to The Lodge downtown where the folks are friendly and the rooms are brand new, fresh, clean, and free from bugs!
Great place!!! Stayed for an overnight here in the beginning of Aug, '11 and enjoyed the place immensely. Wonderful views of the lake, cozy and clean, home-like atmosphere with wonderful owners that went well out of their way to take care of us. Looking forward to a future visit when the wine-tasting addition will be complete!
Absolutely wonderful! My fiancé rented the Cabana room for 4 nights for us during the 2nd week of October of 2015. I did not ask a lot of questions about where we were staying and I am very glad that I did not cause I was blown away with surprise with how beautiful it is! The view is nothing short of spectacular. My fiancé had a full agenda planned for us everyday and Bob and Nancy couldn't have been more accommodating. One morning we had an early fishing charter planned and were not going to make breakfast so, Nancy left us fresh fruit which believe you me was very much appreciated by this girl. We also checked out super early on check out morning but she again left us WARM pumpkin spice muffins- again very much appreciated. We did make one breakfast which was very, very nice! Cozy, elegant atmosphere with an amazing menu. The room/house was clean and very comfortable. Bob and Nancy are very personable, we enjoyed our stay with them and would highly recommend their B&B to others. I know we hope to make it back!
